Having known Brush for more than four decades, @vivienne.becker likens his late modern legend’s work to poetry written with light: whether it is his “Flowing and Tendrils” or “Cantos For a Thousand Miles” series, light takes center stage, producing colors and enchanting iridescence. “I love the way in which the light of the sky and sea outside of L’ÉCOLE, the changing light of the harbour, is reflected or refracted in the engravings of Cantos. It is an emotional, even spiritual experience,” says Becker.
